Dr. Lisa Huber is the medical director and program creator of Kinetik Health. She is a board certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience treating child, adolescent and adult patients struggling with mental illnesses, including anxiety, depression and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

With her tenure of clinical experience, Dr. Huber has expanded into Lifestyle Medicine, receiving her board certification in 2023.  As the medical consultant for Kinetik Focus, a coaching program for ADHD and personal development, she began to note how the same coaching concepts could be readily used to help people achieve their health goals.

FAQs

  • Lifestyle medicine is a medical specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to treat chronic conditions including, but not limited to, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.

Lifestyle medicine certified clinicians are trained to apply evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle change to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions.

Applying the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—a whole-food and plant-predominant eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and positive social connections—also provides effective prevention for these conditions.
