Executive Function Skills for Academic Success
A 4-week virtual workshop series for high school and college-age students focused on building executive function skills, increasing motivation, and getting ready for the upcoming school year.
Starts July 13th!
This virtual workshop series focuses on helping students overcome procrastination, improve time management, build effective habits, and stay organized. Participants will learn and practice tools for creating personalized systems, and how to maintain motivation during the school year.
Week 1
Getting Organized
Learn how to reduce mental and physical clutter, limit distractions, and create an environment that works for you.
Week 2
Planning & Time Management
Develop your own personalized planning workflow. Learn how to manage time, break down tasks, prioritize, and create realistic plans you’ll actually follow through with.
Week 3
Task Initiation
Learn why getting started is so difficult and how to beat avoidance without relying on “motivation.” Learn practical task initiation strategies to help you take the first steps and build momentum.
Week 4
Building Motivation & Habits
Learn what motivates you, how habits are formed, and how to create routines. Learn how to build consistency over time and how to recover when things don’t go perfectly.
The Format
This workshop series consist of 4 virtual sessions via Zoom. The high school group (14-17yo) meets on Mondays and the college group (18yo+) meets on Thursdays. Led by Simon Fragakis, LPC.
